Previously working in the people development industry for years, Ke Xin noticed her genuine interest in people’s life stories and decided to turn her interest into a profession. Ke Xin believes that her authentic self and faith in the goodness of humanity encourage trusting relationships that is crucial in helping clients to move through the change process. She will be there with clients to look at the root of their difficulties, explore options in dealing with their life situations and decide how they want to live life differently. She aims to create a nurturing and accepting environment that allows clients to learn new skills, tap into their inner resources and strengths to find understanding, meanings, true connections and resolutions of many aspects of life. She specializes in working with adolescents and families, apart from individuals and couples struggling with depression and anxiety, low self-esteem, existential crisis, family conflicts, relationships concerns, post-traumatic stress, grief and loss, and work-related stress. As a mental health practitioner, she has worked at schools, hospitals, shelter homes and several private psychiatric clinics and therapy centres. When she is not working, she indulges in art, photography and travel.
