With over 9 years of experience in the field, Aida is a clinical psychologist who has worked within the private and public sectors. Aida had received her bachelor and masters training in Australia, working with children and adolescence in schools as well as within an adult clinic and a Chronic Pain clinic. Since Returning to Malaysia, she has worked with an NGO working with trauma in children, Psychiatry Mental Health Institution, Hospital and Community Psychiatric Clinic. Aida loves her work as a clinical psychologist and is passionate about supporting people to reach their full potential. Aida uses evidence-based practice to support clients with a range of disorders from anxiety, OCD, specific phobia, depression, post-natal depression, stress, adjustment disorder, low self-worth and other emotional and behavioral difficulties. Additionally, her work has also focused towards bridging the gap between physical health and mental health, through a more balanced holistic well-being approach. Acknowledging each person’s unique struggles and appreciating each person for who they are, Aida tailors her treatment to best suit their strengths and vulnerabilities. Aida incorporates evidence-based approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and Positive Psychology. Aida enjoys seeing places in her free time and sipping on a good cup of hot coffee.
